We hope you can join us!
Ash Wednesday is the first of the forty days of Lent, named for the custom of placing blessed ashes on the foreheads of worshipers at Ash Wednesday services. The ashes are a sign of penitence and a reminder of mortality, and may be imposed with the sign of the cross.
How Drive-In Eucharist works is we will hold our regular Zoom church service, with almost everyone participating from their own homes. Jonathan+ will be at St. Andrew’s, along with a Eucharistic Minister (EM), to conduct the service, including the Eucharistic Prayer.
After an abbreviated Coffee Hour, anyone who would like to receive Eucharist will be invited to come down to the church, enter the Carlisle end of our parking lot and drive to the office entrance. There you will be greeted by Jonathan+ and the EM, in appropriate safety attire, who will bring the Eucharist to you, in the comfort and safety of your car. You will be asked to exit, heading towards Jackson (north).
